In another surprise move in round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings pull off a second trade. The thought if another trade was made that they would move down for more picks. Instead the Vikes traded the number 23 pick to the Jaguars for pick 17.

To round out the trade, Jacksonville receives pick 167 (fifth round), a 2025 third rounder and a 2025 fifth round pick.

with that 17th overall pick, the Minnesota Vikings pick OLB Dallas Turner who should help bolster the Vikings pass rush.

Unless another big splash happens, that's a wrap for day one.
